Beginner Setup Tool
Draw Length Estimator
Use wingspan for the better estimate, or height for a rough starting point. Final fit still belongs on a real bow with a real anchor.
How This Tool Works
It gives a starting point, not a final fit.
The wingspan estimate divides wingspan by 2.5, which is a common archery-shop shortcut for getting close to a compound bow draw length. The height estimate uses height times 0.4 as a rough backup when wingspan is not available.
The data comes only from the measurements entered on the page. For the wingspan method, measure fingertip to fingertip with arms relaxed and level. For height, use actual height in inches.
Final draw length should be confirmed on a bow. Anchor position, release style, D-loop length, peep height, shoulder posture, string contact, and comfort at full draw can all move the final setting.
